You’ll probably see a lot of different terms for what we do: home equity agreement, home equity investment, etc. And many mean, more or less, the same thing. But there’s a good reason that we call it an investment. When you access your equity through Hometap, it’s structured as an investment — based on your home’s value over time. It’s a long-term, equity-based way to access funds that aligns with your goals and your home’s potential.
